Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gino Trecozze (ranked 7256 p4p, 2446 weight class) and Rob Gross (ranked 590 p4p, 279 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gino Trecozze! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Gross! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gross scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Trecozze closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Trecozze lands in his opponent's guard. Trecozze stopping the sweep attempt from Gross. Gross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trecozze. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gross controls Trecozze momentarily but Trecozze frees himself. Trecozze thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gross looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've been hearing that Trecozze has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Trecozze advances position into side control! Trecozze thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Gross is trying to get back to half guard. Trecozze is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gross has escaped the position, nice work there. Trecozze tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gross takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Trecozze is chipping away with strikes.
Gross tries to buck Trecozze off but Trecozze is having none of it. Trecozze cracks Gross with a big right hand but Gross just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Gross tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Trecozze wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Trecozze tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Trecozze has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gross is looking to reverse the position. Trecozze wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gross, who protects the arm well. Trecozze has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gross is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Trecozze yanks on the arm and Gross is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Trecozze.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gino Trecozze! As Gino Trecozze got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Yes guys!
