Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Great Khali (ranked 4789 p4p, 4802 weight class) and Jurney Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Man shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Khali napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Khali might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Khali tries to bench press Man off him but Man keeps the position.

Man decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Khali fails with a takedown attempt.
Man misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jurney Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Man throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Khali was covering up waiting for the punch and Man finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Khali has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Man is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Khali.

Man shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Khali's guard.

Khali feints and as Man raises his hands in defense, Khali changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Man wants to stand up but Khali is controlling him.

Khali is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Man is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Man has escaped and now he's on top!

Man stands and steps away. Khali gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

It seemed like Man was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Khali moves away.

Man shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Khali manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Man stands up and waves to Khali to follow him.

Khali gets a takedown into half guard.

Man manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Khali keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jurney Man dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Man is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Khali has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Man is looking to defend but Khali has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Man! Khali pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Man taps out and this one is all over!
