Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guilherme Mendes (ranked 3226 p4p, 1170 weight class) and Sambulo Yeboah (ranked 65 p4p, 24 weight class). Yeboah has chosen Lionel Richie - All Night Long as his entrance music. Guilherme Mendes looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mendes enables Yeboah to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mendes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mendes looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Yeboah controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Yeboah tries to free his leg and advance position but Mendes is retaining full guard.

Yeboah is pushing down on Mendes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mendes is fighting to maintain full guard but Yeboah has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yeboah takes Mendes's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Mendes is in trouble.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
What can Mendes do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
