Timmy tries to keep at a distance but Clarke has taken the fight into the clinch.

Timmy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Timmy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Clarke sprawls well initially but Timmy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Clarke tries to kick Timmy off but Timmy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Timmy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Clarke is just riding it out for now. Timmy eventually gives up the hold.

Timmy gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Timmy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Timmy tries for a takedown but Clarke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Clarke went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Timmy shoots for a double leg takedown but Clarke sprawls well. He's pushed Timmy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Clarke has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Timmy is defended easily by Clarke.
Clarke changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Terry Clarke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timmy Timmy.
Clarke throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Timmy is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Clarke misses with a series of wild punches.

Clarke shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Timmy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Timmy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Clarke might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Timmy wants to stand up but Clarke is controlling him.
Clarke not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Timmy pushes a forearm under Clarke's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Clarke is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
