Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reima Poika (ranked 986 p4p, 2436 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 128 p4p, 292 weight class). The key to victory for Reima Poika has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!

Poika decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

My spies in Gym inform me that Parker has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

That was a close round but I would say that Reima Poika will probably get the nod.

Peter Parker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Parker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Poika moves away.

Parker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Poika on the side of the head.

Parker is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Poika has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Parker has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Poika taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Parker doesn't care though - he's delighted!
