Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akira Tanahashi (ranked 7316 p4p, 2925 weight class) and An Other (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanahashi comes to the cage accompanied by The Man. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

A jab from Tanahashi finds it's way through Other's defenses.

Other swings wildly with an uppercut but Tanahashi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Other keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tanahashi's efforts to push away.

Other is trying to trip Tanahashi. He has hold of a leg but Tanahashi is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Other persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Other has an Americana. Tanahashi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Other is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Other hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
