Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michel Pereira (ranked 449 p4p, 1643 weight class) and Benny Woody (ranked 62 p4p, 215 weight class). Pereira kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is J.Balvin, Willy William - Mi Gente. Woody fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pereira manages to avoid it.
Woody misses with a looping left.
Woody scores with a nice head shot.
A slapping body kick lands there for Pereira.

Pereira throws a series of punches but Woody moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pereira cracks Woody with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Woody swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pereira is looking to counter punch.

Pereira fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Woody, pushing him back against the cage.

In his post fight interview, Michel Pereira started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
