Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soons Sam (ranked 3787 p4p, 5886 weight class) and Leon Chaster (ranked 469 p4p, 584 weight class). The key to victory for Soons Sam has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Soons Sam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leon Chaster!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.

Chaster looks for the body kick but Sam saw that one coming.
Chaster throws a hook but Sam blocks it.
Sam attempts a counter takedown but Chaster avoids it well and moves away.
Chaster stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chaster wants it to stay on the feet.

Sam scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Chaster manages to mount him!
Sam is wriggling around trying to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chaster is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sam is surviving well by controlling Chaster's body position as best he can.
Sam tries to lock up and control but Chaster gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Chaster misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Sam tries to hold on but Chaster postures up.
We've been hearing good reports from Sam's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Chaster throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sam because Chaster loaded up on that one.

Chaster wants to stand up but Sam is controlling the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chaster connects with a nice short shot to Sam's temple.

and Sam decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chaster's guard.
Chaster kicks Sam off and gets to his feet.
Sam tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chaster swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Soons Sam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chaster darts in looking for a takedown but Sam gets double underhooks and turns Chaster into the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sam is in close to Chaster's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Sam breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Chaster shoots for a takedown but Sam saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sam throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chaster.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sam or perhaps it was just good defense by Chaster, which made it look bad.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Chaster is looking for a triangle but Sam pushes his legs off easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well Sam has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
