Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lopez.
Jackson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lopez is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Lopez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jackson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Lopez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

And Jackson responds with a good body kick, but Lopez manages to step out the way in time.

Lopez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Lopez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jackson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lopez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lopez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Lopez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lopez is nestled in close to Jackson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That was a close round but I would say that Martez Lopez will probably get the nod.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lopez connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
