Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Time keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Thayer sets himself, and Time steps forward looking for the clinch! Thayer avoids it this time. Time scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Time is trying to control. Thayer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thayer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Thayer. Time avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Time got a little sloppy there for a moment and Thayer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Time has managed to get both his arms back between Thayer's legs - danger averted. Time looking to pass the guard. Time engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Thayer looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Time is defending well. Thayer quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm!
