Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Micozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Mallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mallon has chosen Live To Party - Jonas Brothers as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Micozzi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Mallon! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mallon shoots in for a double leg but Micozzi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mallon misses with a takedown attempt - Micozzi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Micozzi misses with a takedown attempt and Mallon counters with a lovely straight right hand! Mallon misses with a takedown and Micozzi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Andrew Micozzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Mallon. Micozzi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Micozzi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mallon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Micozzi. Micozzi controlling the pace. Micozzi looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Micozzi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Mallon tries to get to full guard but Micozzi has control of the leg. Micozzi is working for a submission of some sort.
Mallon looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mallon wants to control but Micozzi is keeping busy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Micozzi fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mallon has his takedown stuffed so Micozzi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Micozzi tries to free his leg and advance position but Mallon is retaining full guard. Mallon wants to sweep here but Micozzi controlling him for the moment. Mallon throws his legs up looking for a submission but Micozzi uses it to pass to side control.
Micozzi tries for a kimura but Mallon is defending well. A lull in the action here as Micozzi stalls from top position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Micozzi has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Micozzi throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mallon because Micozzi loaded up on that one. Mallon working to try and regain half guard.
Micozzi has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Mallon is forced to tap!
