Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Emanuel Engozi (ranked 4982 p4p, 4157 weight class) and Blackout Mane (ranked 587 p4p, 523 weight class). Engozi's entrance music is Run and Escape. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Blackout Mane!

Mane lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice cross by Mane.
Engozi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Engozi lands in his opponent's guard.
Engozi has gone for a leg lock! Mane slips out almost immediately though and dives into Engozi's guard.
Mane drops back looking for a leg! Engozi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Engozi manages to kick Mane off! Mane jumps back into Engozi's guard.
Mane thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Engozi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mane works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mane trying to pass the guard but Engozi defending well.
Mane is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Engozi defends it well.
Engozi wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mane wants to control but Engozi is keeping him busy.
Mane works his foot free and advances to mount.
Mane is working for a guillotine from mount but Engozi frees his head quite easily.
Mane looking to control but Engozi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Mane throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Engozi has his hands clasped together but Mane breaks the hold and Engozi is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Mane!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Blackout Mane!
