And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steve Broadbent!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.

Wilson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Broadbent.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Broadbent is defended easily by Wilson.
Broadbent avoids the body shot from Wilson.
Wilson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Broadbent swings for the body but Wilson moves out of range.
Broadbent takes one on the button.

It looks like Steve Broadbent has been cut.
Broadbent throws a lazy uppercut
and Broadbent takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A big left from Wilson misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Broadbent scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Broadbent lands a body shot.
Wilson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Broadbent misses with an uppercut
and Wilson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wilson cracks Broadbent with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Broadbent keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wilson enables Broadbent to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wilson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Broadbent trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Broadbent sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wilson's guard.

Wilson pushes Broadbent off and gets back to his feet.
Wilson scores with a punch to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wilson swings for the body but Broadbent moves out of range.
Broadbent looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wilson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wilson scores with a jab.

Broadbent dives in and scores a takedown into Wilson's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Broadbent looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Broadbent works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Broadbent works his way into full mount!

Broadbent looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Broadbent lands a big shot there that rocks Wilson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Wilson is trying to stand up.
Wilson is bucking up trying to escape but Broadbent cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Broadbent looking to isolate an arm here. Wilson doesn't see it coming and as Broadbent extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Broadbent!
