PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brunch George (ranked 7488 p4p, 25161 weight class) and Frank Grant (ranked 211 p4p, 108 weight class). Grant has chosen Kamate Kamate as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Grant moves into the clinch.

George throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
George looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Grant with the counter takedown but George avoids it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

George shoots for a takedown but Grant saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Grant stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grant wants it to stay on the feet.

George fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Grant, pushing him back against the cage.
George has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Grant after a bit of a struggle.

It looked like George was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grant kicks George off and gets to his feet.

Grant darts in and clinches George up against the cage.
Grant jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as George walks away with a smile on his face. Grant gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Grant has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well Grant has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
