Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dominique Sakuraba (ranked 3546 p4p, 4966 weight class) and Giovane Carmo (ranked 0 p4p, 478 weight class). Giovane Carmo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Sakuraba got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carmo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sakuraba has managed to get both his arms back between Carmo 's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carmo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sakuraba is controlling him.

That was a close round but I would say that Dominique Sakuraba will probably get the nod.

Carmo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sakuraba's guard.

Carmo looking to sit in guard and control but Sakuraba gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
