Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Webster (ranked 3050 p4p, 4804 weight class) and Victor Andres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Webster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Andres!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.

Andres shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Webster napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Webster parries the strikes from Andres easily there. Andres is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Webster to escape.
Webster is trying to get back to half guard.
Webster keeps Andres under control for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Webster tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Andres presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Andres tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Andres seems to be working for a kimura but Webster defends the submission attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Webster is looking to escape.
Andres throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Andres takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Andres's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Andres throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Webster tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Andres is in Webster's guard.
Webster wants to get back to his feet but Andres passes into half guard.

Andres is taking a breather. Webster says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Webster fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Andres lands a right hook to the body.

and Andres counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Webster pushes Andres off but Andres dives into side control.

Webster wants to control but Andres is having none of it.
Andres connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Well Andres has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
