Cainer fails with the takedown.
Cainer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Dilbrandt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cainers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Dilbrandt missing with a left hand there. Cainer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dilbrandt lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Cainer shoots in looking for a takedown. Dilbrandt tries to sprawl out of it but Cainer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dilbrandt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Damian Dilbrandt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Delvin Cainer.
Dilbrandt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cainer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dilbrandt napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Cainer has hold of Dilbrandt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dilbrandt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

In his post fight interview, Delvin Cainer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
