Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matry Bones (ranked 7192 p4p, 7657 weight class) and Dolph Mercury (ranked 641 p4p, 651 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mercury's choice of entrance music: Asap ferg - Plain Jane. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matry Bones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Dolph Mercury!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

Mercury misses with a straight left.
Bones went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Mercury on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Bones gets tackled into the cage by Mercury. Mercury maintains the clinch.
Mercury misses with an elbow over the top.
Bones has had enough of the clinch but Mercury keeps him there for the moment.

Bones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bones moves in looking to clinch but Mercury pushes him off.
A little jabbing left from Mercury on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mercury is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bones.
Mercury throws an overhand right that lands on Bones's shoulder, as Bones tries to avoid the shot.

Dolph Mercury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bones definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Mercury throws a body punch but Bones moves out of range.

and Mercury counters with a left hand that sends Bones to the canvas!

Mercury stands up from guard. Let's bang!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bones wants to clinch up but Mercury keeps it at a distance.
Bones looks to land a combination but Mercury avoids it well.

Mercury pushes Bones up against the cage in a clinch.
Bones blocks an elbow strike from Mercury.
Bones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mercury slowing the pace effectively.

Mercury throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Mercury is pushing Bones up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Mercury keeps control of Bones as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mercury has Bones pressed against the cage, preventing Bones from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mercury just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bones's brow.

Bones tries to break free but Mercury pushes him back against the cage.
Bones looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mercury throws a hook to the side of Bones's head but Bones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bones closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mercury counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dolph Mercury dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mercury misses the jab.
Bones slips a straight right by Mercury.
Bones tries to counter by clinching up but Mercury breaks away and moves out of range.
Bones pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mercury back to the cage. Bones follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

and Mercury counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheers as Bones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mercury doesn't seem phased though.
Bones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mercury swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mercury throws a hook but Bones avoids it easily.
Mercury misses with a straight left.
Mercury lands with an uppercut that bounces Bones off the cage and back into range.
Mercury loads up on a big right hand but Bones slips the punch.
Bones misses with a double jab
and Bones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nice shot by Mercury.

Bones closes the distance but Mercury moves to the side

and Mercury counters with a big uppercut that knocks Bones off his feet! Mercury dives into side control looking to finish!
Oh Bones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mercury decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Mercury closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bones manages to break the clinch.
Bones seems to have got his legs back now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mercury.
Mercury tests Bones's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mercury misses with a straight right.
Bones throws a poor cross that misses
and Mercury counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mercury is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bones.

Mercury waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Bones. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Bones to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mercury gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Mercury misses with a looping left.
Bones throws a series of strikes that have Mercury backpedaling.
Mercury throws the left hand but Bones avoids the punch easily.

Bones ducks straight into an uppercut from Mercury and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Bones manages to regain guard straight away.

Mercury decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Bones switches off momentarily and Mercury cracks him with a monster right hand! Bones topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Mercury dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Mercury!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dolph Mercury!
Dolph Mercury decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
