Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ado Flame! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Jeffson! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jeffson moves into the clinch. Flame wants the takedown. Jeffson is fighting it off but Flame persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jeffson's guard against the cage. Flame trying to control but Jeffson is working from the bottom. Flame slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Flame trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Flame knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jeffson on the ground. Jeffson trying to control the position.
Jeffson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flame postures up.
Flame postures up in Jeffson's guard and throws a big left but Jeffson blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flame loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Flame. Jeffson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Jeffson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A jab from Flame misses. Flame will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jeffson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Flame listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Flame finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Flame circles away from the clinch attempt.
Flame misses with a hook. Jab, jab by Jeffson - just one landing. Jeffson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Flame smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Jack Jeffson has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Flame scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Jeffson looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jeffson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jack Jeffson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flame scores a takedown into full mount! Flame is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jeffson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Jeffson is rocked! Flame looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Jeffson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Flame controlling the position easily from mount. Flame wants to control the pace but Jeffson is squirming around nicely. Flame working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flame punishing his opponent with strikes. Flame is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jeffson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Flame controlling the pace for now. Flame dominating with strikes here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Flame sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Flame landing strikes, looking to finish! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ado Flame dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jack Jeffson's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Flame looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Flame missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Flame wants to stand but Jeffson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Jeffson is looking to stand up but Flame isn't so interested in that idea. Flame advances position into side control! Jeffson is breathing heavily. Jeffson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Flame wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Flame remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jeffson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Flame asserts his dominance and retains side control. Flame decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jeffson to his feet. A lazy body kick from Flame and Jeffson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Flame shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Flame showed some decent athleticism there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flame wants to stand up but Jeffson has a hold of him and won't allow it. Flame is trying to work for a kimura but Jeffson is defending well.
Jeffson tries to kick Flame off but Flame keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Flame content to control rather than advance. Jeffson is not content to let Flame control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flame trying to control from Jeffson's half guard. Jeffson has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Flame postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Flame trying to control but Jeffson is working from the bottom.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Ado Flame just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Jeffson throws a head kick but Flame moves out of range.
Flame fails with a takedown attempt. Flame works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jeffson throws a sloppy head kick and Flame moves out of range easily. Jeffson takes one on the button. Flame lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A jab from Flame finds it's way through Jeffson's defenses. Jeffson is still on wobbly legs! Can Flame finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Are you kidding me?! Flame ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Jeffson clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
