With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lev Davidovitch Bronstein! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.

It looks like Lev Davidovitch Bronstein has been cut. Bronstein fails with the takedown and Pickett counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Lev Davidovitch Bronstein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Pickett misses. We've been told by Pickett's head coaches at Clinch Pride that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Bronstein scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sloppy strikes there by Bronstein. Pickett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bronstein on the ground. The strikes coming from Bronstein are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Pickett trying his best to control but Bronstein has mounted him. Pickett on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pickett tries to get out of the position. Bronstein lands a big shot there that rocks Pickett but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Bronstein content just to control the position here. A nice elbow there by Bronstein. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pickett is trying to escape the mount.
Bronstein softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Pickett is out cold! Bronstein jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lev Davidovitch Bronstein! Lev Davidovitch Bronstein bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
