Lawal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lawal misses with a two punch combination.

Gonzales rushes Lawal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lawal is looking to break free of the clinch but Gonzales has double underhooks.
Lawal has had enough of the clinch but Gonzales keeps him there for the moment.

Lawal breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gonzales shoots for a double leg takedown but Lawal sprawls well. He's pushed Gonzales's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lawal throws a right and a left that Gonzales avoids nicely.

Gonzales closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gonzales lands in his opponent's guard.
Lawal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gonzales on the ground.
