Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

McCooter has jo up against the cage in a clinch.
jo fails to pull guard.
A hook to the body from McCooter.

McCooter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
jo shoots in and drives through. McCooter sprawls well.

and McCooter counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A head kick from McCooter lands but jo takes it in his stride.

McCooter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. jo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

McCooter stands up and beckons jo to his feet.
jo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
jo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and McCooter counters with a left and a right that stings jo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Average jo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McCooter lands a left and a right that send jo crashing to the mat, dazed. McCooter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

jo is rocked!

McCooter gets a takedown into half guard.
Oh jo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

McCooter slows the pace down in half guard.
jo is in trouble now - McCooter has advanced to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
jo is breathing heavily.

McCooter is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! jo is forced to tap! Great finish!
