Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Tomson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tashiro Sugawara!

Tomson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sugawara tries to land a leg kick but Tomson saw it coming and moves away.
Sugawara shoots for a double leg takedown but Tomson sprawls well. He's pushed Sugawara's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tomson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sugawara swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tomson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sugawara chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tomson can pounce on him.

As Sugawara looks to move away, Tomson throws a big counter combo but Sugawara just gets out of the way.

Sugawara's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Sugawara stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tomson.

Tomson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tomson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Sugawara on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Tomson counters with a crisp one two that drops Sugawara! Tomson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sugawara to his feet! Sugawara is in big trouble!
Tomson drops Sugawara with a straight right hand, right on the button! Tomson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
