Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee's entrance music is Beastie boys - Sabotage. A fine choice. John Fadden acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Fadden! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Lee. Fadden ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lee scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fadden in his tracks. Lee clinches. Fadden jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lee walks away with a smile on his face. Fadden gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lee has Fadden up against the cage in a clinch.

Fadden's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lee misses with a wild body shot. Fadden swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee. Nice straight punches there by Lee. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lee. Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fadden is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Fadden tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lee just stands there and leans against the cage. Peter Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Fadden. Fadden is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Fadden tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lee smiles and moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee lands with an overhand left. Fadden wants to clinch but Lee slips to the side letting Lee counter with a right hand. Lee throws a series of punches but Fadden avoids them all with ease. Lee swings for the body but Fadden moves out of range.
Fadden misses with a takedown attempt and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nice shot lands for Lee. Lee drives through and clinches with Fadden against the cage.
Lee makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Peter Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee cracks Fadden with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Lee is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Fadden misses the body punch and Lee counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A shot to the body from Lee misses and Fadden counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fadden. Lee pulls Fadden in close to prevent any damage. Fadden throws a strike but Lee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee won't allow Fadden to sweep him here. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Fadden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fadden trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fadden fails with the takedown and Lee moves into the clinch. Lee is leaning against Fadden and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. A shot in the inside from Lee. Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fadden is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Peter Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fadden misses with a takedown and Lee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lee thuds a left hand into Fadden's body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee thuds his right hand into Fadden's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Lee lands with a straight right. Fadden didn't see that one coming. Lee drives through and clinches with Fadden against the cage.

Lee regains half guard. Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fadden on the ground. Fadden is just content to waste time from the top position. Lee takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fadden content to stall in guard here. Lee keeping moving, preventing Fadden from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fadden takes one on the button. Lee wants to clinch. Fadden takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Fadden shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fadden drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Fadden takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fadden with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lee to score with a decent uppercut. Lee has closed the distance and engaged Fadden in a clinch.

Lee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Lee connects with a nice looking jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Lee lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Lee throws out a powerful jab. Fadden is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him? Lee works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Lee's corner calls for a 1-2. Lee obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jab, jab by Lee - just one landing. Lee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Nice shot lands for Lee. Lee misses with a double jab
and Fadden counters by moving into the clinch. Fadden seems to have recovered his senses. Lee lands with a short head shot on the inside. Peter Lee has scored more points in the clinch so far. Lee scores with the left hand. Fadden knows he should have avoided that one. No joy there for Lee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fadden has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fadden has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lee is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Fadden yanks on the arm and Lee is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Fadden.
