Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Tchusuk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yoshi Takano!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.

Takano avoids the head kick by Tchusuk.
Takano connects with a body shot that sends Tchusuk's belly button to the back.
Tchusuk throws a hook but Takano blocks it.
Tchusuk throws a right and a left that Takano avoids nicely.
Takano wants to land a leg kick but Tchusuk is out of range.
Takano with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tchusuk throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Takano - that will leave a mark!
Tchusuk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tchusuk looks to score with a jab to the body but Takano is just out of range.
Takano throws the left hand but Tchusuk avoids the punch easily.
Tchusuk was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
A combination from Tchusuk does no damage.
Takano feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tchusuks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Kenny Tchusuk has been cut.
Takano thuds a left hand into Tchusuk's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tchusuk lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Takano throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Tchusuk is breathing heavily.
Takano connects with a leg kick.
Takano misses with an uppercut.
A quick step to the side and Tchusuk tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Takano throws out a head kick that Tchusuk doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Tchusuk crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Tchusuk's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Tchusuk on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Takano looks to score with a jab to the body but Tchusuk is just out of range.
Tchusuk misses with a double jab.
Takano avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Takano throws a leg kick but Tchusuk checks it.

Takano throws the left hand but Tchusuk avoids the punch easily.
Takano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tchusuk looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Takano misses with a low kick.
Takano cracks Tchusuk with a good jab.
Takano connects with a body shot.
Takano buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tchusuk pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Takano connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Tchusuk has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tchusuk throws a body shot but no joy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Takano catches Tchusuk with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Kenny Tchusuk's cut is getting worse.

Tchusuk walks into a big right hand from Takano and goes down! The referee sends Takano to a neutral corner as Tchusuk gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Tchusuk checks a leg kick.
Tchusuk swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Takano finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Tchusuk on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Takano has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Takano catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Tchusuk stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Tchusuk walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
Takano scores with a spinning back kick!

Takano scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Tchusuk to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Takano away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Tchusuk got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

Tchusuk is rocked!

Kenny Tchusuk's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Tchusuk blocks a head kick by Takano.
Tchusuk checks the leg kick nicely there.
Takano uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tchusuk.

Takano moves into range and clinches up with Tchusuk.
Tchusuk scores with a shoulder strike.
Tchusuk tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A head punch on the inside from Tchusuk fails to land.
Takano softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Tchusuk takes a knee to the side of the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Takano breaks the clinch.
Takano scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Tchusuk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yoshi Takano will get the nod in that round, having scored multiple knockdowns.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Takano rushes Tchusuk and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Tchusuk lands a left hand that snaps the head of Takano backwards.
Takano misses with some punches.
Tchusuk has a couple of punches blocked by Takano.
Tchusuk pushes off an throws an elbow but Takano leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

Takano breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kenny Tchusuk is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Takano tries to move into range but Tchusuk moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Takano scores with a nice right hand.
Takano throws a head kick that half lands.
Takano misses with an attempted mid kick.
Takano is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tchusuk scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Tchusuk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Takano! But no joy.
Takano has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Tchusuk throws a sloppy head kick and Takano moves out of range easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tchusuk takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Takano takes a swing at Tchusuk's ribcage but misses.
Tchusuk is looking for a counter combo.
Takano lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tchusuk takes a step back to recover.
Tchusuk looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Jeez, Kenny Tchusuk's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Yoshi Takano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tchusuk looks to score with a jab to the body but Takano is just out of range.
Takano lands a right and a left and another right! Tchusuk goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Yoshi Takano!
Yoshi Takano decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
