Thompson thuds his shin into the meat of Mornstar's side.
Mornstar darts in and clinches Thompson up against the cage.
Mornstar drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thompson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Thompson cracks Mornstar with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mornstar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mornstar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Thompson tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thompson wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Mornstar drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Thompson 's chin! Thompson is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
