Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Haji (ranked 6264 p4p, 3239 weight class) and Christopher Graves (ranked 610 p4p, 420 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Haji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christopher Graves ! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.

and Haji counters with a nice uppercut. Haji throws out a leg kick but Graves moves out of range and Haji only half commits. We've been told by Haji's head coaches at FF Forever that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Haji clobbers Graves with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Haji throws a body shot but no joy. Haji cracks Graves with a good jab. Graves takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Sam Haji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Graves throws a body shot but no joy. Haji swings away with a leg kick that misses. Haji lands a body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action! Graves fails in his attempt to clinch. It looked like Haji was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Graves ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Haji swings widly with a right hand
letting Graves counter with a right hand. Graves takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sam Haji! Sam Haji spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
