Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Solomon Cook (ranked 24729 p4p, 5887 weight class) and Miguel Cotto (ranked 108 p4p, 81 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miguel Cotto!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cotto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cook - the referee stops the clock and Cotto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cook. Cotto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Oh Cook is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Cotto counters with a perfect left hook, dropping Cook to the canvas. He tries to get back up quickly but his equilibrium is all over the place! He's up... he's back down again! There's no need for a count as the referee calls off the bout!

Miguel Cotto was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
