Wellington cracks Patrick with an open hand slap.
Wellington works Patrick's body with a nice hook.
Wellington throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Wellington goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Wellington changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wellington connects with a good right hand that stumbles Patrick. Patrick circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Patrick seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wellington does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wellington manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Patrick keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Wellington really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Wellington counters with a solid body kick.
Patrick drops his hands momentarily and Wellington needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Patrick just on the top of the head. Patrick drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Patrick - he's done!

In his post fight interview, Humphrey Wellington started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
