Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Derick Muise!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Spears!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.

Spears tries to move into range but Muise moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Spears with a lazy takedown attempt
and Muise counters with a right hand to the body.
Spears fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Muise counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Spears thinking.
Derick Muise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Spears.

Spears takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Muise lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Spears misses the shot to the body.
As Spears looks to move away, Muise throws a big counter combo but Spears just gets out of the way.
Muise tests Spears's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Spears shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Muise counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Spears on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Muise. Muise obviously looking to wear him down.

Muise drops Spears with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Spears looks back up at him and smiles so Muise waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Spears is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Spears is still on wobbly legs! Can Muise finish him?
