The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gacy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gacy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Silva manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gacy's best efforts.

Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gacy stacks Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gacy!

Gacy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Gacy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Gacy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
