Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Rob Ford (ranked 7464 p4p, 2513 weight class) and Datu Rizalia (ranked 108 p4p, 121 weight class). Rizalia has chosen Ballad of a dead soulja by tupac as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Datu Rizalia!

A nice leg kick from Ford, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ford throws a leg kick but Rizalia checks it.
Rizalia throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Ford moves in looking to clinch but Rizalia pushes him off.
Ford takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rizalia uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ford has time to react.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ford takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Rizalia swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Rizalia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ford manages to avoid it.
Ford thuds his right hand into Rizalia's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Rizalia connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Ford moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rizalia on the wrong end of a nice jab.

and Ford counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ford swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ford throws out a leg kick but Rizalia moves out of range and Ford only half commits.
Rizalia tries to bum rush Ford with a series of wild strikes but Ford uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As Rizalia tries to get set, Ford tries to push him back and clinch up but Rizalia manages to avoid the attempt.
Rizalia ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ford connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rizalia's hands.
Rizalia lands a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Ford counters with a left and a right that stings Rizalia.
Datu Rizalia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Rizalia misses the target.
Rizalia lands the left hand.
Ford drives through and clinches with Rizalia against the ropes.
Rizalia dodges an elbow strike from Ford.
Ford tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rizalia's elbow.
Ford using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rizalia has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rizalia lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rizalia breaks the clinch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ford, as that shot connected.
Ford drops his hands momentarily and Rizalia takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ford misses with a wild body shot.
Rizalia with a body punch. A glancing blow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Datu Rizalia dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rizalia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ford manages to avoid it.
Ford misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rizalia connects with a jab.
Rizalia looks to land a body kick but Ford moved away.
Ford with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rizalia to score with a decent uppercut.
Rizalia has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Rizalia lands a nice shot to the body.
Rizalia scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ford is rocked!
Rizalia cracks Ford with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Oh Ford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Rizalia cracks Ford with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Ford is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Ford is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Ford could not beat the count!
