Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sultan Khan (ranked 5094 p4p, 5119 weight class) and Dominic Duran (ranked 506 p4p, 508 weight class). Dominic Duran struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Duran fails in his attempt to clinch.
Khan lands with a hook. Duran tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Duran avoids a punch combination nicely.
Khan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sultan Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Duran takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Khan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Duran.

Sultan Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominic Duran.
Khan lands with a nice combination. Duran backs away looking to recover.

Duran throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Khan's waist but Khan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Duran off to one side.
Duran looks winded!
A head kick by Duran misses
and Khan counters with a straight that turns Duran's legs to rubber! Khan pushes forward with more strikes and Duran goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
