Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Brajgel (ranked 3096 p4p, 5096 weight class) and Jey Will (ranked 368 p4p, 505 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Brajgel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jey Will! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brajgel gets in close and instigates a clinch. Will looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Will. Brajgel tries for a takedown. No joy.
Will is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Brajgel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brajgel rushes Will and presses him up against the cage. Will has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Brajgel after a bit of a struggle. Will wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Will has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brajgel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Brajgel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Will shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brajgel defends it nicely. Peter Brajgel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jey Will. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Will tries to sprawl but Brajgel drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brajgel lands with a punch from half guard. Brajgel lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Brajgel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Brajgel sitting and controlling from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brajgel is looking to take a break and control but Will is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brajgel trying to pass the guard but Will defending well. Brajgel controlling the pace. Brajgel wants to pass the guard but Will is defending well. Brajgel passes to full mount! Brajgel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Will is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Will really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Brajgel looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Brajgel avoids the attempt from Will to control. Will takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Will tries to control the position but Brajgel now has his back.
Brajgel scores with punches and elbows. Brajgel lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Brajgel is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Will defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Will trying to control the hands but Brajgel breaks the grip. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Brajgel dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Brajgel shoots in for a double leg but Will sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Brajgel ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Brajgel shoots in for a takedown but Will shows good takedown defense. Will is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Peter Brajgel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Will fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brajgel avoids it really well and circles away. Brajgel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Will can do to turn this around? A momentary lapse in concentration from Will enables Brajgel to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Will manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brajgel stands up from guard. Let's bang! Brajgel lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Will at a distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brajgel dives in and scores a takedown into Will's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Will wants to sweep here but Brajgel controlling him for the moment. Will wants to stand and escape but Brajgel is having none of it. Brajgel sitting in guard, not really doing much. Will tries to land a sweep but no joy. Will trying to keep a closed guard but Brajgel is proving a slippery customer.
Peter Brajgel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Brajgel's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Brajgel content to stall in guard here. Brajgel passes into half guard. Will pushes Brajgel off looking to stand but Brajgel dives back in and keeps control.
Brajgel wants to control but Will is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Brajgel connects with a nice short shot to Will's temple. Will is not content to let Brajgel control the position. Will has hold of Brajgel's hands but Brajgel slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Will trying to hold on to Brajgel's head to control him but Brajgel postures up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Brajgel shoots in and drives through. Will sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Brajgel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brajgel clinches with his opponent.
Brajgel has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Will uses from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brajgel lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Brajgel content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Brajgel throwing strikes but missing. Will wants to stand and escape but Brajgel is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Will working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Brajgel has passed into half guard!
Will tries to roll over but Brajgel keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Brajgel dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Brajgel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brajgel lands in his opponent's guard. Will keeping moving, preventing Brajgel from controlling successfully. Will is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brajgel is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brajgel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Will wants to get back to his feet but Brajgel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brajgel lands a couple of decent looking shots. Brajgel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Brajgel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Brajgel prevents Will from standing back up.
Brajgel slips a nice elbow through Will's hands, connecting with Will's forehead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brajgel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Will with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Will trying to control here.
Will is looking for a sweep. Brajgel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Will is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Brajgel scores with a couple of nice shots. Brajgel prevents Will from improving his position. Brajgel trying to control from half guard but Will is working away. Brajgel prevents Will from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brajgel looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Will displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brajgel. Will tries to clinch but Brajgel is having none of it. Brajgel gets a double leg takedown into Will's guard. Will looking for a sweep. Not yet Will, not yet. Brajgel stands up and waves to Will to follow him. Nice sprawl there from Brajgel as Will shoots in.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brajgel throws a combination. Will tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Will thuds his shin into the meat of Brajgel's side. Brajgel tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Will swivels and escapes. Will clinches. Will goes for a takedown attempt but Brajgel pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Will fails with a takedown attempt. Peter Brajgel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jey Will. Brajgel has Will up against the cage in a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brajgel pulls Will into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Brajgel showed his dominance in that final round. Well Brajgel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
