Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Reed (ranked 5138 p4p, 5267 weight class) and Chong Jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Big Reed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chong Jo!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.

Jo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Reed connects with a jab.
Jo wants to clinch up but Reed keeps it at a distance.
Jo misses with a few strikes there.
Reed misses the jab.
Reed fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Chong Jo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jo misses with a two punch combination.
Reed lands with a good body shot.
Jo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Jo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reed lands a really nice looking cross but Jo seems unphased.

It looked like Reed wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jo is looking to clinch but Reed is avoiding it.
Reed throws a body punch but Jo moves out of range.
Jo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Reed.
Reed connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Reed counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jo! Reed lets Jo back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Jo is rocked!

The crowd cheers as Reed lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jo doesn't seem phased though.
Reed lands with a shot to the body.
Jo staying out of range there.
Despite the aggression on Jo's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Reed avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jo misses with a few strikes there.
Jo tries to clinch up.
Reed throws a hook to the side of Jo's head but Jo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jo doesn't manage to clinch there - Reed circles away.
Reed is looking to counter punch.
Jo tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Reed counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Reed bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jo's head backwards.
Jo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Reed swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Jo misses with a combination
and Reed counters with a nice uppercut.
Jo misses with a series of wild punches.
Reed looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reed misses with a hook.
Jo takes a jab right on the kisser.

Reed sizes up Jo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jo is looking to clinch.
Jo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reed lands with a nice body punch.
Jo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Reed is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Reed tests Jo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Good shot there by Reed.
Jo wants to clinch.
Reed lands a nice shot that snaps Jo's head back.
Reed slips a jab and a cross from Jo.
A combination from Jo does no damage.
Reed just misses with a punch to the body.
Jo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jo misses with a leg kick.
Reed with a hook.
Reed takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Reed slips a jab and a cross from Jo.
Jo throws a front kick aimed at Reed's knee but Reed avoids it well.
Reed connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Jo tries to keep at a distance but Reed has taken the fight into the clinch.
Reed lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jo is trying to drag Reed to the mat but Reed just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jo tries to score a body lock takedown but Reed shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jo tries for a takedown but Reed manages to get underhooks.
Big Reed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chong Jo.
Reed scores with a shot to the side of Jo's head.
Reed pushes Jo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reed lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Jo looks winded!

Reed lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Reed lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jo backwards.

Reed digs a right hand into Jo's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jo's gas tank.
Reed lands a shoulder strike.
Reed lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Reed working some nice short punches in the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reed creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Reed after a bit of a struggle.
Reed lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jo backwards.
Reed working some nice short punches in the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Reed.
Jo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Reed gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Jo seems to have recovered his senses.
Reed pushes Jo back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Reed lands with a right to the head.
Reed lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Big Reed dominated that round.

Jo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Chong Jo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reed lands with a light punch inside.
Jo tries for a takedown. No joy.
Reed lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jo.
Reed lands with a short shot to the head.
Reed lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Reed lands a left hand.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reed creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jo takes a shot to the head.
Reed is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jo can do to turn this around?
Reed pushes Jo against the cage. Reed is working some dirty boxing. Reed pushes off with a quick right hook! Jo goes down! Jo tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Reed moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Reed!
