Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Billy D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy D! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Johnson! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson clinches with his opponent.
Johnson is trying to trip D. He has hold of a leg but D is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Johnson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with D. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. D tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. D is working hard here to advance position. Johnson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. D is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Johnson postures up.
D might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. D gets the takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. D working away. Johnson is not content to let D control the position. Johnson is trying to control D's posture but D avoids it. Johnson parries the strikes from D easily there. D is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Johnson to escape.
Johnson is looking to regain half guard here but D keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. D scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Johnson to see if he's OK. Johnson tries to escape but D is in control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. D shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Johnson is trying is best to control the position here. Johnson looks gassed! D passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Johnson! D content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. D is in the full mount, landing strikes. D landing strikes from the mount and Johnson is in trouble! D avoids the attempt from Johnson to control. D tries to control but Johnson wriggling away. D connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy D dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
D drives through with a takedown into guard. D stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard. D won't allow Johnson to get back to his feet. D postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. D trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Johnson is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson working a defensive guard here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Johnson closes the distance looking to clinch and D counters with a takedown into side control. Johnson is not content to let D control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. D is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Johnson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Johnson prevents D from moving into mount. D wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. D is really struggling to control Johnson but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. D misses with a takedown and Johnson counters with a flying knee. Nice. D doesn't succeed with the takedown and Johnson counters with a flying knee. Nice. D gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy D. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. D is positioning himself to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on D's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. D manages to work his way to half guard, despite Johnson's best efforts. D holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. D makes his way to full guard. A much better position for D. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Billy D will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

D regains half guard. D is trying to maintain the position but Johnson is very close to passing his half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. D tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Johnson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. D wants to get back to full guard. Johnson thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing D to regain full guard. D wants to sweep but no luck. Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. D bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. D is looking to take a break and control but Johnson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but D wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. D wants to control but Johnson is keeping him busy. D tries for a kimura but Johnson is defending well.

D is staying tight to Johnson's torso, preventing him from escaping. D trying to control the position but Johnson is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Billy D just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. D misses with a takedown and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control. Johnson throwing strikes but missing, from side control. D wants to control but Johnson postures up. D is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. D is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Johnson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think D has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
