Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Makebono Bowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mako Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka misses with a straight left.

Bowen clinches up with Tanaka and pushes him back against the cage.
Tanaka lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

It looks like Makebono Bowen has been cut.
Bowen tries to score a body lock takedown but Tanaka shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bowen is trying to break free.
Tanaka wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tanaka tries to break the clinch but Bowen is controlling the position.

Bowen prevents Tanaka from breaking the clinch.
Tanaka throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bowens head.
Bowen tries to pull guard but Tanaka holds him up against the cage and eventually Bowen drops back down to his feet.

Bowen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bowen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tanaka fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Makebono Bowen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tanaka wants to clinch but Bowen slips to the side

and Bowen counters by clinching up.
Bowen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Bowen can't get the takedown.
Bowen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bowen is trying to drag Tanaka to the mat but Tanaka just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Bowen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tanaka pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bowen is breathing heavily.
Tanaka blocks the body kick.

Tanaka tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Bowen counters by moving into the clinch.
Tanaka lands with a short shot to the head.
Tanaka is trying to break the clinch but Bowen has him pressed against the cage.
Tanaka stops a takedown attempt from Bowen.
Bowen is trying to drag Tanaka to the mat but Tanaka just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Makebono Bowen's cut is getting worse.

Tanaka breaks the clinch.
Tanaka cracks Bowen with a left hook right on the temple and Bowen goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Tanaka lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Bowen is OK!
