Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rip Chord (ranked 4915 p4p, 6395 weight class) and Rey VIllanova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

VIllanova moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nice shot lands for Chord.
Chord misses with a looping left.
The fighters circle momentarily. Chord darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Rey VIllanova has been cut.
VIllanova is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Chord cracks VIllanova with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Chord has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning VIllanova to stand back up!

VIllanova throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
VIllanova doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Chord fakes the body blow, causing VIllanova to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! VIllanova goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
