Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Kurosawa (ranked 6718 p4p, 3875 weight class) and Raging Smackhead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smackhead has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Raging Smackhead has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Takeru Kurosawa's chin.

Kurosawa scores with a one two! Smackhead had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kurosawa jabs at Smackhead's body.
Smackhead looks winded!
Kurosawa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kurosawa clobbers Smackhead with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kurosawa.
Kurosawa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kurosawa takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kurosawa stuns Smackhead with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kurosawa looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kurosawa tries to clinch up.
Kurosawa clinches up with Smackhead and pushes him back against the cage.
Kurosawa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kurosawa lands a right hook to the body.
Kurosawa scores with a jab to the jaw.
Smackhead moves forwards but Kurosawa connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Smackhead is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kurosawa! Smackhead is out on his feet! Kurosawa rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Smackhead is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Smackhead is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takeru Kurosawa!
