Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexandr Kurilenko (ranked 3204 p4p, 7258 weight class) and Conor McGregor (ranked 362 p4p, 590 weight class). McGregor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Notorious kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.

McGregor shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McGregor showed some decent athleticism there.

McGregor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kurilenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kurilenko wants to sweep here but McGregor controlling him for the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGregor trying to control but Kurilenko flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
McGregor is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Kurilenko has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of McGregor's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGregor trying to control the hands but Kurilenko won't let him.
McGregor is trying to defend against the choke here but Kurilenko has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Kurilenko Tightens the hold and McGregor taps out furiously! Kurilenko displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Conor McGregor was interviewed post fight and said 'He was the better fighter tonight, congrats'.
