Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corpuz takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Horrible takedown by Corpuz or perhaps it was just good defense by Belfort which made him look bad.
Belfort cracks Corpuz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Belfort misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Marco Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belfort throws a leg kick which misses Corpuz's front leg but catches the back leg as Corpuz tries to avoid it.
A head kick by Corpuz misses
and Belfort connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Belfort uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Corpuz has time to react.
Belfort scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Belfort connects with a good right hand that stumbles Corpuz. Corpuz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Belfort circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Corpuz to the canvas! Corpuz doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Belfort keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
