Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Za Beast (ranked 2649 p4p, 1843 weight class) and Leonard Nimoy (ranked 348 p4p, 254 weight class). Leonard Nimoy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Nimoy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Beast.
Nimoy fails with a takedown attempt.
Nimoy tries to clinch up but Beast circles away and keeps his distance.
Nimoy moves in looking to clinch but Beast pushes him off.
Beast walks into a straight right hand from Nimoy.
Nimoy jabs Beast to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nimoy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Beast checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Leonard Nimoy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nimoy digs a good hook to Beast's body.
Nimoy slaps away a takedown attempt from Beast, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nimoy tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Beast manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nimoy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Beast doesn't seem bothered though.
A jab from Nimoy does it's job there.
Nimoy cracks Beast with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nimoy has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Beast to stand back up!
It looks like Za Beast has been cut.

Oh Beast is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beast leaves his chin hanging out and Nimoy seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Beast crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
