Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Average (ranked 2204 p4p, 3732 weight class) and Denis Kurlaev (ranked 297 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Denis Kurlaev was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Average is defended easily by Kurlaev.
Kurlaev is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Average with a body shot.
Kurlaev cracks Average with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Joe Average seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Average or perhaps it was just good defense by Kurlaev, which made it look bad.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
