Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lavelle Dubois!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Cuesta!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.

Cuesta throws a head kick that misses
and Dubois counters with a nice uppercut.
Dubois lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Cuesta shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dubois cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dubois lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Dubois with a nice cross.
Cuesta throws a sloppy head kick and Dubois moves out of range easily.

Cuesta gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dubois punishes Cuesta's body with a nice straight punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dubois avoids the head kick by Cuesta.
Dubois fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dubois scores with a shot to the body.
Dubois drops Cuesta with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cuesta looks back up at him and smiles so Dubois waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Cuesta is rocked!
It looks like Simon Cuesta has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cuesta wants to clinch up but Dubois keeps it at a distance.
Dubois connects with a nice looking jab.
Cuesta is still on wobbly legs! Can Dubois finish him?
Cuesta tries for a takedown but Dubois circles away easily
and Dubois rattles Cuesta with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Cuesta tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Dubois dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Cuesta stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Lavelle Dubois!
