Good standup being displayed there by Dent as he connects with a hook. Reznov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dent circles away. Nice sprawl there from Dent as Reznov shoots in. Dent trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dent is rocked! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dent can do anything to dispel that myth. Reznov slips nicely into half guard. Dent looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dent wants to get back to full guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Reznov connects with a nice short shot to Dent's temple. Dent is looking to escape. Dent is looking for a sweep. Reznov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Reznov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dent with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ground and pound from Reznov. Reznov winds up and cracks Dent with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Dent is still in real trouble! Can Reznov finish him?

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Reznov lands with a punch from half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reznov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reznov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dent with a short hammerfist. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Reznov has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dent tries to lock up and control but Reznov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Dent seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Reznov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Reznov with good strikes from the mount here! Reznov postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Dent out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Reznov goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
