The fighters circle momentarily. Keji darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kirkpatrick takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Keji scores with a nice right hand.
Kirkpatrick moves into the clinch.
Keji breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Keji slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kirkpatrick wants to clinch up but Keji keeps it at a distance.
Kirkpatrick closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kirkpatrick is trying to pull guard but Keji has him pressed against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Kirkpatrick blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Kirkpatrick tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Keji lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Keji unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Kirkpatrick! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Keji is unloading with more strikes now! Kirkpatrick drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abdul Keji!
