Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Hall (ranked 4846 p4p, 7499 weight class) and Dechlan Tomsett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dechlan Tomsett is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dechlan Tomsett! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hall lands in his opponent's guard. Hall wanted to stand there but Tomsett had control of the position. Hall looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tomsett wants to sweep here but Hall controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall with a nice head shot there. Hall is stalling in the full guard. Tomsett controls Hall momentarily but Hall frees himself. Hall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hall trying to control but Tomsett is working from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Hall stopping the sweep attempt from Tomsett.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hall closes the distance and pushes Tomsett back into the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hall has picked Tomsett up - he's going for a ride! Hall dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Tomsett tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Tomsett wants to control but Hall is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hall is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Tomsett tries to roll over but Hall keeps him under control. Tomsett works his way to full guard. Good work. Tomsett is controlling Hall's posture. Hall postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tomsett controls Hall momentarily but Hall frees himself.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Tomsett fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hall avoids it really well and circles away. Tomsett instigates a clinch. Hall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hall has Tomsett up against the cage in a clinch.
Hall prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall displaying some good clinch control by pressing Tomsett up against the cage. Tomsett slows down the pace here.
Hall manages to break the clinch.
Tomsett takes a swing at Hall's ribcage but misses. As Tomsett looks to move away, Hall throws a big counter combo but Tomsett just gets out of the way. Hall throws a head kick that misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tomsett lands with a nice combination. Hall backs away looking to recover. Hall clinches up against the cage. Tomsett throws a head punch that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Hall dominated that round. That's time! Hall's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Hall circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hall has a takedown stuffed. Hall looking to score a takedown here. Tomsett is defending well but Hall drives through and ends up in Tomsett's guard. Hall wants to pass the guard but Tomsett is keeping the position. Tomsett is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hall wants to stand and escape but instead Tomsett has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Hall pushes Tomsett off and scrambles back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tomsett bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hall's guard. Hall is trying to control the position but Tomsett postures up. Tomsett controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tomsett trying to control the position from guard on top but Hall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tomsett stands up out of Hall's guard for a moment - Hall manages to land a nice upkick. Hall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall keeping moving, preventing Tomsett from controlling successfully. Hall looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Tomsett passes into side control.
Tomsett stands up. Hall fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tomsett to the ground. Hall is now in Tomsett's guard. Tomsett has his feet on Hall's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Tomsett tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hall defends well and Tomsett ends up having to push Hall into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hall scores with a push kick. Tomsett tries to clinch there but Hall circles away.
Hall tries for a takedown but Tomsett sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tomsett stuffs the takedown attempt from Hall. Hall gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tomsett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ryan Hall will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Hall lands a head kick!
Hall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tomsett pinned against the cage. Tomsett gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hall shoots in looking for a takedown. Tomsett tries to sprawl out of it but Hall keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tomsett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hall tries to close the distance and clinch but Tomsett swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tomsett shoots and misses and Hall counters with a good low kick that Tomsett was not able to check. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tomsett gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Tomsett looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hall is one step ahead there. Tomsett looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tomsett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tomsett is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tomsett is keeping the position for now. Tomsett is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tomsett not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hall tries to free his leg and advance position but Tomsett is retaining full guard. Ryan Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hall is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Tomsett fails in his attempt to clinch. Hall drives through with a takedown into Tomsett's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tomsett has Hall pulled in close to control his posture. Tomsett looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall's corner is telling him to maintain position. Tomsett throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Hall decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tomsett, up you get! Tomsett keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tomsett lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hall is defended easily by Tomsett.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hall takes the fight into the clinch. Tomsett looking to throw knees to the head but Hall is blocking nicely.
Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tomsett swats away the attempt to clinch by Hall. Ryan Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tomsett scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tomsett is looking to take a break and control but Hall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dechlan Tomsett has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ryan Hall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hall is trying to stand back up but Tomsett is controlling him
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Hall showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hall has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
