Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Wilder (ranked 1743 p4p, 2044 weight class) and Demetrius Tektas (ranked 207 p4p, 240 weight class). Tektas has chosen Alexander The Great as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Wilder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 18 - 3, fighting out of New York, Demetrius Tektas! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilder misses with a double jab.
Wilder stuns Tektas with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Wilder has Tektas up against the cage in a clinch.
Tektas has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wilder is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Wilder pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tektas has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Tektas throws a body shot but no joy. Wilder misses with a few strikes there.
Tektas throws a leg kick but Wilder checks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lazy body kick from Wilder so Tektas counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Tektas is standing up over Wilder. Wilder looks to escape but Tektas dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tektas looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tektas is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wilder will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Tektas wants to control but Wilder is keeping him busy. Tektas working away. Tektas trying to control the action but Wilder is working from the bottom. Tektas might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wilder haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wilder tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Wilder has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Tektas. Tektas missing with strikes from the back. Tektas controlling the position well here. Wilder rolled but Tektas kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilder covering up well under a barage of strikes. Tektas has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Wilder! Can he survive? No! He's out! Tektas gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
