Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Trayans (ranked 6724 p4p, 3850 weight class) and Luciano Piccio (ranked 567 p4p, 440 weight class). Trayans kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Non-Natty Anthem. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Luciano Piccio!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.

Trayans throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Piccio.
Trayans jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Piccio looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Piccio looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trayans is fending him off so far but Piccio persists. Nope, Trayans circles away and we're back to standing.
Trayans is looking to counter with a body kick.

and Piccio counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Piccio throwing strikes from guard but Trayans blocks nicely.
Piccio has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Piccio throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Trayans works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Trayans throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Piccio on the side of the head.
Piccio fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Trayans avoids it really well and circles away.
Piccio shoots in for a double leg but Trayans sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tom Trayans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luciano Piccio.
Trayans throws a nice looking combination but Piccio bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Trayans lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Piccio on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Trayans looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Piccio sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Piccio takes a jab right on the kisser.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
An inside leg kick lands from Trayans.
Piccio dives in for a single leg takedown but Trayans sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Trayans lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Trayans misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Trayans fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Piccio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Trayans lands a nice looking kick to the body. Piccio takes a step back to recover.
Piccio is still on wobbly legs! Can Trayans finish him?
Trayans lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Piccio is looking to close the distance but Trayans sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Piccio crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Piccio is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

A very excited looking Tom Trayans made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
