Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Dog Gracie (ranked 3273 p4p, 1521 weight class) and Chandler Tyson (ranked 322 p4p, 173 weight class). Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gang out. Chandler Tyson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chandler Tyson ! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gracie avoids a strike by Tyson and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Tyson 's guard! Fantastic escape!

That was a close round but I would say that Big Dog Gracie will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tyson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily. Well, if Gracie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Gracie lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Gracie is aware though and is defending well. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Gracie here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Tyson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Still in half guard, Gracie seems content to control. Tyson tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie not doing much here.

Gracie turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tyson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Tyson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A lull in the action here as Gracie stalls from top position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Further stalling from Gracie.
And that's the end of the fight! Big Dog Gracie showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gracie has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
